Navigating the current climate as a small business or startup is challenging. Our virtual panel will speak on the resources available to small businesses right now and the different support they can receive. We will cover what does aid for startups looks like right now, what we think we can expect for the next stimulus package, and have plenty of time for a Q&A with our panelists.

John Olsen

Founder Shield

John is a Senior Account Executive at Founder Shield, a full service retail insurance brokerage focusing on early stage and venture backed firms. John’s team specializes on program renewals, working with clients to build out their risk management processes as they grow and scale operations. He has been with Founder Shield for two years, and previously worked in broking at Marsh & McLennan.

Michael Cohen

Michael is the Founder & CEO of Suitless Inc., a global consulting and services company that helps business leaders become more productive. Suitless works with small to medium-sized fast-growth companies by managing their Human Resources, Finance, and Internal Operations functions. Michael formerly worked in progressive roles with technology companies such as MicroStrategy, the Consumer Technology Association, and Vox Media. Michael graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology. He also received his Masters Degree in Human Resources Development from Virginia Tech and and holds a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management from Marymount University. Michael holds the SPHR designation as well as the SHRM-SCP designation. Michael resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife, two boys, and stubborn English Pointer.
