Description:

The race to roll out smart venues was underway long before the pandemic. Now, with COVID-19 as a catalyst, arenas, venues, and entertainment centers are preparing to host fans in a new way.

Venues had been introducing smart technology gradually over the last few years, offering immersive hybrid experiences with XR technology (we all remember the infamous Tupac performance at Coachella). Now, with necessity being the mother of invention, venues are getting even more creative. With 5G and MEC technology, the entertainment and sports industries are unlocking a whole new genre of experience, at home and in the arena.

Join us as we talk with industry experts working to design safe, and frictionless, experiences for fans. We’ll hear what trends are being accelerated by the pandemic, what exactly fans should expect when they return to venues, and the role data plays in making all of that possible.
