Description:

Leading in a time of crisis can be difficult. Whether that’s transitioning your workforce to remote, trying to keep morale up, laying off team members or making pay cuts to keep jobs – the current COVID-19 crisis is shaping our businesses in new ways. In this virtual roundtable, we’ll hear from leaders in tech, HR, and people management about what is essential in times of crisis and some thoughtful input on how to navigate such an uncertain time.

Meet The Panelists:
Noelle Tassey
CEO
Alley

Noelle Tassey is currently the CEO of Alley. She has spent almost a decade working to scale growth-stage technology businesses, and launching new ventures. She also advises and invests in a variety of early-stage companies, and she is committed to building a more equal future through technology. Under her leadership, Alley has been named to Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies and Inc. Best Places to Work.

Madan Nagaldinne
Chief People Officer
Blink Health

Nagaldinne joins Blink Health from Compass where he served as Chief People Officer. In that role, Nagaldinne grew the company’s workforce from 200 employees to more than 2,000 and oversaw the recruitment of top executives including the Chief Technology Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer, drawn from leading companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, Spotify, Google and more. Prior to his tenure at Compass, Nagaldinne spent over twenty years developing workforces at some of the most notable companies in the world, including Facebook and Amazon. At Facebook, Nagaldinne held several roles, including head of human resources for the Asia-Pacific region, head of HR for the company’s global sales organization and head of HR for Facebook New York. At Amazon, Nagaldinne is credited with leading a 100+ person HR team that helped increase the e-commerce giant’s footprint from 200 employees to more than 5,000 across Asia. Prior to Amazon, Madan spent a decade in the Bay Area in senior HR leadership roles in the semiconductor and technology companies.

Claude Silver
Chief Heart Officer
VaynerMedia

Claude Silver is an emotional optimist, coach, manager, and mentor. She is the first Chief Heart Officer at VaynerMedia. Leading 800 Humans, she is in touch with the heartbeat of every single person in the company. Her role is to infuse the Agency with Empathy. It's her purpose. Culture is a texture. It’s a vibe. A feel. And culture is alive. It’s definitely not one or two-dimensional—She think's culture is very three-dimensional. Culture is, in a nutshell, the heartbeat for her. It is something that absolutely lights up an entire system — if it is in place, and if it is thriving. She constantly asks herself, how does she hold space for people? How does she make it not about her agenda? I’ve had an enormously fortunate career. And now this is about her life’s work. It’s bringing together every single personal and professional growth workshop she has attended, every corporate team-building session she has led, every trust fall she has caught. She doesn't necessarily have all the answers; she's helping our employees find their answers. The CHO was created to scale Gary, and to make sure that VaynerMedia’s 800+ employees—and one day it will be 1,000+—have a place they can find a home. Her hope is that in their 15-30 minute meetings, they will feel a lot clearer and that they leave with a newfound path to a solution. Which in turn creates success for them and VaynerMedia.
