Description:

IoT is all around us: our homes are equipped with smart technology, and public spaces like offices, airports, and hotels have public networks and plenty of tools to keep us connected along the way.

But the more connected we become—and the more our physical world merges with the digital—the greater the need for cyber security.

How will new technologies—especially those enabled by advanced connectivity like 5G—protect us and our information from threats lurking amidst myriad servers and access points? Also at home—how do we ensure that our smart devices are actually protecting our personal data and not just listening to our conversations?

Tune in for a conversation about cyber security in the evolving age of IoT, and hear from experts on how to keep your information safe.

We are dedicated to providing an accessible environment for all attendees. Please let us know if you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in the conversation by October 14th. We will do our best to meet your request. For any questions please email: events@alley.com

Managing Director

Christine is an inclusive researcher, designer and innovator. She is the Managing Director of Open Inclusion, an agency based in the UK but operating globally that she founded 7 years ago to bring the value of disability- and age-inclusive insight to design and innovation. Prior to setting up Open she spent a number of decades working in corporate marketing, strategy, service and digital design, using customer-centred techniques to inform solutions. These often leveraged emerging technologies and new approaches for innovative solutions. Now she thinks much more deeply about which customers are informing the solutions, and prefers learning directly from those with specific knowledge, lived experiences and needs. She is also still innovating! Now Christine leverages disability inclusive design to create innovative services that make it easier for insight to be heard from those with the knowledge, by those creating the solutions.
